Hey Jacob, have you ever heard of Moshe Linke? His work is walking simulator-like at most gamey. It puts you in cold, sterile brutalist environments and lets you experience them as if you were walking around a museum. I think you would love his work "Fugue in Void".

Thoughts on reviewing Fear and Hunger 1 and/or 2, or is its subject matter maybe a little too extreme? The Super Eyepatch Wolf video was pretty cool and Worm Girl's story summary is also pretty great but I also imagine if you did a video it'd be really interesting!

JacobGeller

yes! I've actually used Fugue in Void as a backdrop in the Returnal video. Extremely cool stuff.

So inspiring! Thank you!

This was a great video! I've always struggled with the notion that games are art, mostly because it seems like we're trying to "elevate" games by comparing them to another medium. It's nice to see games that challenge the notion that they are even games, and then manage to elevate the medium regardless.

So I immediately downloaded Kid A Mnesia to play this weekend. Looking forward to checking it out it looks so cool. Some of the visuals did remind me of a real world, interactive art museum, Meow Wolf. Which may be playing in the same space? I mean everything is a game!

I’ve been enjoying your content far to frequently and far too long to not have paid you for it yet. This video tipped me over the edge to subscribe to nebula and your patreon. Excellent video as always.

Thank you so much for including Kid A Mnesia in this video. I hadn't heard a single thing about it before. It's beautiful.
