Geller, Jacob. I adore you. But you’re a dingus. You can do better. I have curiosity stream, Nebula, YouTube premium, and this here Patreon. This link here redirects you to YouTube, but you always mention that we should be watching your videos on the other platforms. I can’t find you on curiosity stream, and nebula is out of date. If you could clear it up a bit, I would love ya even more. Also apologies for the melodrama, I’m baked. Last thing. Your video essays are, “chef’s kiss”, amazing. I always try to fall into others, but they’re just never as good as you. Closest I’ve come to is eurothug. She has great commentary, but lacks the bite you’re able to deliver. Regardless; Where should I always go for the spiciest content you so deliver to us sad mortals with an old iPhone. Enjoy your Sunday. Cheers!

The "saving the best for last" moment in this video was the shirt worn during the ad read

That is a very correct statement. And I see you Geller. I'll watch it again on Nebula, again. Because good content is good content. (P.S I can't stop wandering back to "An Uncanny Reality". Fantastic write up).

Hey dog! Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I'm not on CuriosityStream, as that's a documentary platform. Nebula videos go up within the same hour as the Patreon ones- this video is up there right now. I don't link to Nebula because that's a premium service that not everyone pays for.

I can’t say what it was, but it was this video that made me do what I’ve been meaning to do for a year or more: create a damn Patreon account and start supporting you. I don’t know why it was this video over all your others, this one among all the beauty, sensitivity, love of art, care for the world, amazing facial hair and meditations on the nature of constructed realities that made me overcome the inertia of “oh yeah, I should sit down and do that” and actually nut up. You should be so proud of all the wisdom and scholarship you have given us. You are one of the finest critical theorists of new media, and I’m grateful for your presence in the world and on the platform.

This video makes me desperately want to get into VR...

Honestly, if you have the cash to spare I can totally recommend an Oculus Quest 2
