IMPORTANT PATREON CHANGES (Patreon)

Patreon is gonna implement a service fee change to pledges starting on December 18.

TLDR: Creators that you support will receive more of the money that you actually want to pledge to them, BUT at the cost of you having to pay an additional fee besides the actual tier.

This is a list of the expected increase in your pledges that you need to pay should this change continue.

Okay sure, the creators are actually getting the payments with less fees. Here's the problem. Your patreon support is already enough for me no matter how much you give. It means alot, that $1 means a whole lot. The fact that you have to pay an additional fee BESIDES what you were already planning to pledge is just stupid.

This will heavily affect patrons who are on a tight budget that still want to financially support their favorite creators, which obviously will affect creators too in the long run. This change will only be counterproductive to both creators and patrons.

I personally do not like this change at all. I'm already satisfied with how the current Patreon works. Please let Patreon know of your thoughts about this change here and let's hope this change will be cancelled. https://patreon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
