When I first showed the original unedited pictures to Author-kun, he asked if I was happy with this set. "The coloring is off. Delta has black hair, not purple." I was about to say; but purple was what the LORA came up with; initially I figured nobody would notice besides the both of us.

I also realized then that what he was really asking was "Is this truly the best version of the piece I can put out?" It certainly was not, so I took it back with Author-kun's idea of merging the two techniques of masking/changing hues to select the whole image, except the eyes. As a result, Delta looks far more like Delta and less like Raiden Shogun.

While editing this piece in photoshop, I thought to myself that I am quite lucky that I have Author-kun to push me; I definitely would have let the hair be as it is, but I would not have been proud of what I put out. I always fear that what I put out is not good enough and always look in wonder as Author-kun looks over his own pieces with half an eye and goes "It's not good enough, here's X reasons why." Its sometimes intimidating even. Perhaps we all need someone in our lives to push us to be better that we currently are.

That being said, I won't let Author-kun run off so far ahead of me that I can't catch up.
