• Church Progress

Built a door and hallway for the private quarters of the nuns. Still need to dress it up properly, but the entire church is over 1GB at this point, so saving it takes over a minute.

Tomorrow I'll probably optimize the church a bit, to lower the size and build it up a little further.

• Blender (Animation) Progress

Got some new tech for rigging genitals, so I need to revert some work that I already did on Nina. Which isn't too bad, actually. Blender allows me to append parts of other projects, so basically I can update Nina throughout working on projects with them.

Say, I make an animation to 80% and then learn some new ways to do something, I can update Nina within that animation project and easily copy it later to the base Nina model.

Fixed some hair and transparency issues, along with just the hair having wrong textures. But, there are some seams in the textures that have something to do with translucency or SSS. It's an often enough occurring bug in Blender, because DAZ uses textures very differently than how Blender is used to.

I'll need to find a fix for that.

I had to undo some physics work that I did on Nina, specifically their buttocks, thighs, pecs and hair, but I know how to re-do those pretty easily, so it's not a HUGE set-back.

Lots of stuff to learn, but they look great! Can't be easy hopping from one software to another. Wish standardizing certain features was more of a thing for developers 🤔
