Have two more ideas for these two, then I'll move on to making content with the mother goddess.

• Church Build Update

Replaced a lot of the parts of the church with some technically lighter instances. Instances are cheaper copies of things in a scene. 

Take the pews, the benches, for example. I only technically need to load in one pew and then copy it (instance it) a couple of times. That reduces a lot of memory load.

So I'm still replacing all the columns to do the same, because right now they're still all technically their own, un-copied models.

Interesting that instancing doesn't use as much memory as copy-pasting assets. I'm guessing there's still a limit to how many 3d assets a scene can take before it eats your computer. But your scenes are getting better and better with detail levels!

I THINK it's because it checks the shaders and surfaces if you just copy-paste unique models all over. And an instance basically disregards those surfaces and just uses the one from the original? That's how I understand it at least. Might be completely wrong though.
