• Been working and struggling through Blender today and rendering. Had some difficulties adding soft-body physics to Nina. But I ended the day feeling confident that I am close to figuring it out.

I previously tried making a mesh that's very close to Nina's rear and basically have it right underneath the surface of the mesh. But the mesh would very often collapse into itself and it was also a very unoptimized way of doing this.

So now I'm making a less detailed mesh that sits over the entirety of the area that needs to be simulated. Just the difference between having the physics mesh OVER and not UNDER Nina's mesh shows improvement in that it's not collapsing into itself anymore. I don't need to worry about the mesh shrinking in ways that would change the characters' look.

Hopeful that next week I'll have Nina and Amaya ported to a point to work on a first animation with those two.
