  • Making further progress on the Colosseum PART III set.
  • Colosseum PART III is turning out to be the largest set as of yet, both in image numbers and story.
  • Using a new denoising technique. Noise is grain and "dust" in a render. Should result in more detailed textures in renders.
  • Designed the textbox portion of the renders.
  • Quality/Quantity: Thinking about making less but making them better instead of more but of lesser quality.
  • After Colosseum Part III I want to look at the models again, update them all somewhat on all fronts and learn how to make my own hair.

Further Colosseum PART III progress
This set is really easy to work with, not struggling with making things or coming up with the story/poses. I feel inspired and want to make this one good and bigger than the rest. I'm taking a big swing with this one also because it's the first time around that I'm gonna make a proper narrative out of this one.

This means that this week, there might not be as much content releasing. I'm AIMING for the colosseum being done this week and finished rendering late next week. I'm gonna edit and render as I go so I hope to deliver this by the end of next week.

New denoising technique
I'm using a different denoising software now, the previous one was very good but it sometimes turned the hair into jello.

Textbox Design
The textbox now has a design that I don't think I'll change in large ways. I might do a different background image eventually, but for now this is what I'm settling with.

Quality/Quantity
After the colosseum set I want to change how I make things, I want to finish at least 1 thing every day, but I want to make it of higher quality. So instead of moving on after finishing the one thing, I'd like to really take my time and make that one thing as best as it can be. Hopefully that works out.

After Colosseum Model Updates
I've been noticing some of the skins are a little bit harsh looking when I'm done with them, I want to take another look at how I do skins and nail a more softer look that still has details like skin pores. Also there's some skin seams that I need to look at.

I'm also learning how to make my own hair, the end result'll be that characters will have distinct hairstyles that I can easily change or manipulate or simulate to interact with everything. Now I'm using hair models that are more strict in how they look and can move.
