Found out last week that somebody here is posting (timed) exclusive content from Patreon or SubscribeStar publicly out there.

That's not a nice thing to do.

I'd appreciate it if you could stop and perhaps remove the posts. Thank you.

Here's what I'm contemplating if they want to keep doing what they're doing. Basically remove the timed exclusive thing, giving people everything at the same time and uploading my stuff on their platforms on my own account. I would have to give supporters something in return for being forced to remove a reward they had though. I'm thinking of giving some more agency and choice to patrons. Dedicated places for suggestions and requests. I always kinda had that, but I had no dedicated place or way for people to easily do that. This is a little bit more work, but.. yeah. I don't see any other solution apart from quitting out-right. If you have any other ideas to deal with this problem, because it's been nagging at the back of my brain for some time now. In short: My idea is: - Remove the timed exclusive period, upload everything publicly at the same time. Supporters still get full-resolution and no watermarks. - At the same time upload heavily watermarked, lower-resolution versions to public platforms like Twitter and Slushe and the platforms where people are uploading Patreon content. - Add rewards for Patrons like a more dedicated place to get involved with what I do. More frequent requests, feedback stuff. Let me know if you have input. (Today's release has been delayed for this reason; I'd like to see what y'all would like before I release the next thing.)

Hey, i'm affraid that kind of things will pretty much always happen. Many artists have their patreon exclusive stuff posted on public platforms, but that doesn't mean you should stop doing exclusive content in my opinion.

Thanks for your thoughts on this! Let me try and get this straight; you want me to just keep doing that timed exclusive thing and just let this person upload it publicly? It's a bit unfair to me, to all of my supporters and their money to let it slide, I feel. So, unfortunately I have to deal with this in some way because how I see it, they're also sharing something that was meant exclusively for you. I might also have to start doing more requests or a kind of semi-commission, as a reward. But I'll have a think about that, that's a pretty big commitment.
