Regarding charges and requests. (Patreon)

I received an email from Patreon themselves regarding last month's charges and the upcoming ones.

In short, if you encounter a problem here's what to do;

If your bank suspects that the Patreon payment is fraudulent, you can call up your bank to confirm the payment is yours and genuine.

1. If your payment failed, you can follow these steps or switch to a different payment method.
2. If you are seeing an international processing fee, you can switch your pledge to a different bank that doesn’t charge for international payments.
3. You can reach out to the Patreon support team to get account specific help.

Here’s what Patreon will be doing:

1. We’ll reach out via email to any patron who receives a “declined” payment with info on what they can do and how.
2. We will continue Patreon’s proactive practice of retrying payments throughout the month.

I expect the hassle with all of this to just result in most people removing their pledge. 

Shame that the lost pledges from last month are lost too. I was hopeful for a better solution. But it is, what it is.

Seeing as this month will probably see some issues too, I'm not hopeful this month will be a good one for me. 

Requests

To catch up on last months' monetary hit (and probably this months' as well) I'm doing some overtime at work. 

This means a lot of things; less streams, less overal content and your requests will unfortunately be delayed. Rest assured, you'll get them when they're done of course. I'm just not certain as to when that will be in the next month.
