Laura is a quiet girl who gets bullied regularly at school, primarily by a girl named Sarah. One day she decides that she has had enough and that it's time to change herself in order to get Sarah to stop picking on her. Eventually, the changes she makes allows her and Sarah to become friends because Laura has got more pretty. Laura's new look also allows her to be granted access to the popular girls table at dinner-time. Sarah and her friends continue to "help" Laura become more attractive as she wants to get her first ever boyfriend. She naively takes all of their advice under the pretence that's what friends are there for.
