Progress Report | Petal Remaster - 10/5/2023 (Patreon)

The Petal Remaster has begun! Pretty much all of the renders are complete. Now it's just a matter of polishing up the renders, and plugging them into the Remaster. I'm also doing some minor updating of some of the text, and organizing some of the backend code because it was a mess in APAT.

The first four scenes were an absolute train wreck behind the scenes. The code and the images were a mess! Once those four scenes are completed, I'm hoping everything is a lot smoother and faster. I just finished the first two scenes, and I had to go back to the movie Love is Hell to custom rework those images. Crimson Banshee looks a lot better, the renders look great. It's still short, but sweet. 

I'm still not completely in love with her look, but it's a huge upgrade from what she looked like before. If I ever work with Banshee in the future, I'll probably overhaul her completely. 

Petal looks a little different, but still super cute.

I was hoping this whole thing was only going to take a few weeks. I'll have a better idea if that's true or not on next weeks report. I want the Remaster out before Over the Moon's first release. 

As soon as this is finished up, I'm going to jump right back into The Judas Ghost. Having the APAT Remaster off my plate will be a huge relief. I'll still be working on OtM though.
