Thank you for cross-promotion. I read all the way to page 225 in a single sitting before I remembered I have project deadlines of my own to complete today. The comic is what if DC's Captain Marvel and Marvel's Captain Marvel were combined into one story and one character. Billy Batson transforms into Carol Danvers whenever he said "Shazam!", and the comic actually has been going there with the gender-as-social construct in a thoughtful way. Only downside: the webcomic has poor navigational controls and no introduction page for new readers. It may be a while before I can come back to finish reading, and this fact bothers me.
