Hello all!  We're making this update public so everyone can see how we're doing.

We're through the heavy research and experimenting phase, and have moved into regular development of the first playable, undertaking weekly sprints / iterations on the core Dino Run 2 / Stegoball engine.

The full report is available at dinorun2.com, but here is the short version:

- The artist creates a terrain chunk, which is basically a photoshop file with a lot of layers and information.

- We run it through a tool to dissect the layers and turn it into foreground, background, etc.  We also take a special layer and convert it into the physics shape for the ground:


- We then piece the chunks together and match up the entry and exit points:


- And then of course, we roll a Stegoball down it:
