It wasn't bad but there is really only so much Venom you can do.

I feel like Outerspace Groupie was a little thin on story, but made up for it in porn. There's a lot of unanswered questions about how Venom found out about the other dimension or got there in the first place, but it does open up the possibility of a whole series of stories in which he ventures from dimension to dimension, looking for the one where he can get what he wants without getting a foot up the ass. The pornographic scenes were decently good. Non-con isn't an up or down for me, although having MJ "pass out" helped it to feel less creepy than it otherwise might've (as she wasn't screaming and crying for help the whole time). I feel like the Venom symbiote also didn't come into play much here, other than restraining the girls or light probing, like an extra set of fingers, so it wasn't really the outright tentacle sex I was expecting from the teasers. All of the cumshots were a nice treat though. Not something we've seen a lot in other comics. The art feels like an attempt at imitating Shade, but still holds up okay. Overall, arousal achieved, but it's not likely one I'll revisit very often.

I'll start with a confession, I was getting a bit bored with the last few releases. Many recent great stories like Trifecta and Civil War started to bleed together, mainly overshadowed by the classic Scops-verse. Other stories (like this months ASW) brought me to a mild chuckle but not much else (I don't enjoy giving negative criticism). It was hard to pinpoint what was missing, but I think this release nailed it, DRAMA. In this issue my pulse was racing by page 3, and although I didn't expect a bad end it seemed possible with the bleakness of the situation. We understand the sickness of Venom so immediately, and the disturbed motivation that guides him to attempt this raid. At times I worried about the artist (page 3 panel 1 was a bit stiff especially compared to the great panels right next to it) but by the time Venom was a borderline disembodied spectre on page four panel six I was an utter convert. His shrieking grimace hovering over an imperiled and restrained Emjay was a supernova. Like many a great ero-anime or doujin villain he seems bigger than life, his power to destroy the essence of fear. When the victory comes for the bandmates it feels rapturous (and kudos for combining 616 Venom's weakness with the concept of the Mary Janes). The only quibble I have is that if Emjay stayed awake it would have made her look stronger in resistance, given weight to Gwen's sadness at being too late, and made her ultimate victory even more powerful. But overall I think this is my favorite Scops comic (I never thought anything could beat Symbiosis or Spidercest 6) and will continue to gleefully support Tracy's art and hope that more such edgy and yes, non-con, work continues.

... I liked the ending? Yeah, okay, this was always going to be a tough sell. Months ago, I'd have gone down to one comic. But I want to keep the money high, and give every comic the chance to surprise me. But I was going into this paying attention to what TS was saying: it was gonna be non-con, and she was gonna go dark, dark, dark. And that's what we got. I have to admit, I'm glad the comic ended the way it did, because I'm not sure I could have handled it if it had ended on too much of a downer. No, I wasn't expecting it to be like what we *weren't* shown in Maximum Carnage, but... the artist delivered on exactly what TS was trying to accomplish with this comic, which means it hit me on a very gutteral level. Even as some of the art suggested (as non-con does often) that MJ and Gwen were enjoying at least some of it, there was very clearly pain and humiliation written into the art, same as the narrative. This is what you came for, as the song goes. I hope that means that those that like this sort of thing got what they enjoy. The artist isn't perfect - can't remember if they've done previous comics before - with the kinds of things I like, most, faces and such. But I admit, hard to be objective when I'm looking at something I don't enjoy. :/ But I will add - something other folks below have echoed - that I may be done with Venom. Not necessarily all symbiotes, but Venom specifically is just... I'm not all that jazzed about any future stuff with him, even if the story doesn't get this dark. Give me Hybrid, give me Mania, give me Peter wearing a suit that he fell in love with and Joined with... hell, even give me Ann Weying with the Venom symbiote, that might actually shake things up. But Eddie as Venom...naw. Not unless it can show me something really different and new.

This comic looks amazing! I've never pledged on here before but I saw the preview for this one on HF and clicked on the pledge link right away! Great work man!

Really liked this one. Good sex and very creative with the route it went, compared to normal. Wish Venoom got a bit more but, eh, 'happy endings' and all.
