Just another Monday

The banter between Spidey & Stark was funny, and Amara with MJ was interesting; smartly written, and great analysis of MJ & Peter's relationship. 9/10, great read

Swinging is not really my thing, but I liked this book just for the dialog. The banter between the four characters was on point, and despite the comic having more than three characters the sex scenes felt long enough and fleshed out. I never really liked Tony Stark, and could never understand why he was so popular, but this comic actually made him seem like a cool guy to hang out with. Great job!

Excellent comic. Loved seeing Silk for those 2 panels. Hope we see more of her in the future.

Iron Spider has a hot concept, but doesn't seem to ever get going. The setup is great, the pairings a natural, the dialogue witty, the sex erotic. It has a bonus two pages (it seems) and has costumes and characters begging for a run in the Tracyverse. Yet something got lost in the aether. I think, crazily enough, the problem rests with Spidey. MJ points out his rank hypocrisy yet he is unwilling to grow, loathe to accept the prospect that MJ has her own desires. This extends to the sex, with two mirrored, straight pairs of classic coupling throughout (Pete even complains during the awesome daisychain). This isn't a bad characterization, but in the comic itself he feels unneeded, he is rain on your wedding day personified. In fact I'd say the hottest points were all prologue, it ends not with a climax but in media res. Spidey should have stuck with Friday, got tuned by machines while watching. As it is the threesome briefly seen and described seems hotter, especially as Amara would be less of an afterthought and MJ would have more time to shine. Even crueler the threeway (another poll near winner) between straitlaced Silk and naughty Black Cat teases a scene that would've worked as a good parallel to the Amara/MJ/Tony threeway. If there is an apt description I shall paraphrase what Roger Ebert said in his review of Gus Van Sant's Psycho, that there exists some brilliance between or below the panels that can't be duplicated.

I really enjoyed this issue! I liked the MJ/Stark connection and sad to see it go so soon, so thanks for giving it some love. Dumb question though, who was the other black haired woman in the scene?

Amara Perera. She was Tony’s main love interest during Brian Micheal Bendis’ run on Invincible Iron Man. It’s a great run!

I don’t know why the threesome before spider gets there bothers me but it does. And why I really don’t understand it is that I had zero issues with MJ makes a porno despite her getting railed by half a dozen different guys. Well, whatever. Outside of that one moment it was great.
