This month has something highly expected from patrons since the idea of MJ making a pornographic video won one of the monthly polls. On the other comic, nobody ever asked for a Stepford Cuckoos porn sex-parodywith Spidey, but I think most readers won't complain.
Or will they?

Here's a bit more details on each of the new releases:

MARY JANE MAKES A PORNO
It was bound to happen: Someday MJ would be so full of  Spidey and Black Cat fooling around that she would do something to makes things square. That day is finally here: MJ goes for an audition of the SINISTER SIX PORN PARODY.

Really like the Stepford one how can you not like the idea of identical hot triplets and the MJ one looks OK.

It hurts me to have read that synopsis as interesting as it sounds. The rogue gallery of Spidey is maybe the best in comics, and the dark stories that could be told with them is a dream. It is the second picture of every character when doing rule 34 of any character. Thats why the internet is full of such pictures, because it's a natural turn of erotic fiction that would make classic comics. The second rule you posted is right, that characters obey their fundamental natures, and if things were less stringent this could be canon. The six ravaging MJ not only could be cannon, it is the sort of thing that would be very common in the world of superpowers and revenge. This story, while likely funny, really wouldn't be in the character of MJ, she wouldn't destroy her career on a lark. With a dozen fun stories this year it's impossible to believe this would have been more interesting than the pure story. When making the poll, which edgy stories rarely do, the hard stuff often wins. There was a three month period where all hard stories won (Symbiote, Web of Shadows, Porno) and it appears all three fundamentally betrayed their pitches. Even Sandy vs Watery, which didn't win, changed the femmes and the entire motivation to make it softer. This feels extremely cruel, even if that isn't remotely your intent, to all those fans who wait with baited breath for these stories. Throw us a bone down the line, please...

That argument doesn't make sense. You can't say noncon isn't popular and then say the internet is full of such pictures. That is a contradiction, made more obvious by the polls. Virtually every poll where Peter didn't win was a villain poll. Hard stuff won three in a row. Every poll that was not based on a debuting female except this theme lost. Its the only poll winner that even explicitly used more than one male. Lets compare to the runnerup which came out first. Epilogue for Homecoming. Pepper Potts heads over to the Parkers to help Peter explain things to Aunt May. When all else fails she finds one way to persuade her into letting Pete continue as Spider-Man. Threesome ensues. Mary-Jane thinks she has signed up for a normal movie, ready to show her acting talents once more. She will get her chance as she stars in a porno with the Sinister Six. The setup is completely changed, she came fully aware. Her motivation, need for integrity and respect, is changed to Peter's philandering. She is going to an audition, not even the real thing. She co-stars in the porno as another girl is playing Black Cat. The Sinister Six aren't in this, and the actors don't have the motivation. She isn't walking into a trap. In fact in the initial pitch this wasn't a professional production, but a scheme of evil. Technically only the word MJ is left intact.

Thanks again for your comprehensive input, Spooney. The contest winner was "Mary-Jane ends up in a porno casting call". It was never supposed to be a dark story, especially about gangbang rape. And MJ going for the real Sinister Six would definitely be way more out of her character. You might be surprised to see how MJ handles things in this story so that she gets what she wants without destroying her career. About your other comment, regarding edgy stuff, I think "betrayed" is quite an inappropriate way to put it. Pitches are not commissions. I don't do commissions. Even the co-writer tier needs some sort of mutual interest, otherwise I politely decline that patron's offer. When pitches bring an interesting idea, I do take the liberty to reshape them in a way that I think would make it a more fun story and put it to vote. That's because I have zero interest in the over-abundant female abuse fetish that floods the internet. I care about telling stories that I find interesting and (above all) mostly funny. Even when the females in my stories find themselves in the vulnerable side of things, karma will always be in effect, either in the beginning (i.e. Felicia tried abusing Miles), sometimes in the end (i.e. Venom gets two feet in his ass from MJ and Gwen) or even because there's some revelation that only became clear in the end (i.e. Felicia had her way with the real Sinister Six and tricked them into capturing her). Plain rape and abuse, at least without solid karmic reasons, will not be found here. Now, if patrons agree this is unfair or cruel... The contests were supposed to be a way to incorporate fan ideas into the new stories. But if that's becoming a nuisance, it's defeating the purpose. The best thing to do in this case would be just stop doing the contests and continue creating things from scratch as I used to.

@WeedLovingFuckingLongName 😉 Non-Con is usually something I'm not interested in. It has appeared in quite a handful of my stories, but (as I explained) people either had it coming or the abusers suffered painful consequences in the end. Dub-Con is more possible (like mind-control/pheromones taking over/bodyswitch) but it still needs some sort of jist for it to become a good story I'd like to tell. Which brings me to my favorite stories: Sex between two people (sometimes 3, 8 or even 12) who actually want to have sex. That alone is rarely found in the mainstream comics and is the entire point of me doing what I do. That being said, whenever I bring up Zoo, Futa or Male-Penetration... All hell breaks loose. Go figure...

I believe what you're saying has alot of merit to it. Mary Jane actively seeking pleasure like that is a bit out of character for her especially from fake versions of the Sinister Six. If a story even similar to that were to happen in my opinion the situation would present itself in a more darker tone similar to what happened in issue #4 book 2 of Kick-Ass. Where the villains get back at Kick Ass by completely wrecking the neighborhood of his girlfriend, killing everyone they happen to come across, and nearly beating her to death.

I don't think futa gets flak, it only made the poll once and barely lost against a very hot idea (shape shifting). The Mystique comic got flak because it backdoored penis/penis contact, which many violently oppose as a subset of m/m. I agree we should have a space for such a story, but this is a hard market that is often segregated. Another of my pledgees is about to drop a huge M/M work and there will be backlash, unfortunately. Speaking of m/m a forced scene there would be huge, look at any male characters rule 34 collection, as a natural story too. I don't agree with many of the arguments against having forced stories, but one is true... There is an inevitable element of misogyny that, even when ridiculed and commented and exposed by the work, that remains. I can't deny this exists, perhaps any f/m story that veers this way just can't have the same tone. Its extremely problematic but ugliness in art I've found utterly fascinating. If I were to quibble its that violent stories have more story, that mimics comics better. How she would escape and overcome the six would be fascinating. Emjay triumph and role as savior over Venom was a powerful and classic scene, even better than the Bangbrodas death. These comics made death work, thats excellent storytelling. Although fun is best, variety is the spice of life.

How we we all go all out and rank all 100 issues? Or, failing that, maybe just a top ten? Maybe a list of best pages, or maybe a contest where we all only pitch sequels? Either way a huge congratulations.
