Can you guys tell how much fun I have writing meta-narratives? I think it's where my own mental disorders really shine...

Best parody ever. 10/10. Then again, I'm pretty biased 😜

It's a bit challenging to even break down Days of Swimsuits Past because so much happens. It throws several extreme ideas together and works as spoof and eroticism in a difficult balancing act that the issue pulls off well. Deadpool's goofy personality probably wouldn't have worked sexually, so the issue sidelines him amidst his very own fantasy. This layer of artifice adds greatly to the theme of nostalgia, as unlike most Scops stories this exists in a relatively nebulous past era (the 90's) as opposed to a more definite adaptation of current issues. In non-Spidey action Storm and Jubilee both stage blistering DPs that work splendidly. Logic would say these scenes would be repetitive filler or background to the main action, but nothing of the sort occurs. Storm's invitation to Scott and her regal demeanor brings peace to the Wolvie-Cyclops conflict and contrasts greatly with the rougher Jubilation. I was hoping to get lots of her and man did she excel, manhandling the two most extreme X members with a harder-than-nails personality. That spunky hair, those wraparounds, the earrings, the flowing locks of Ororo, all great. Storm luxuriates on a pool lounger while Jubes is held aloft to get as hard and deep as possible. Even after exhausting the dudes they join for a kiss at the end (kudos to the art as they hover in a random 90's space, in the water, atop an ottoman) as a perfect capper. The foursome was still great but a bit less exciting. Probably because we have had two great Spidey Jean stories recently this had less impact to me (come to think of it Tingling That Sense probably will take a bit of edge off my contest winner) than it would've previously. Psylocke was still hot but didn't get much personality on the page, sort of the reverse of Rogue who got the least action but rocked in dialogue. The jubilation, couldn't help myself, of the sex here really shone through and more than fulfilled this poll winner. A few nitpicks. No real stripping occurs, the swimsuits just void from existence off panel and not one character even keeps a stitch of them on. The sex, despite several homoerotic opportunities, is relentlessly straight. During the cock trib we can't even see Jean's face and virtually every panel has all three girls completely focused on Spidey or the guys on their femme. Joked in issue itself with Deadpool and Bobby, it still was a bit of a letdown. In the last sex panel Rogue isn't even there to catch, shut out once again (damn you powers).

Usually, I find that your Deadpool stories tend to have too much joke and not enough sex, but this was more balanced. good show!

As a fan of Spidey, Deadpool, and the owner of several of those swimsuit issues this felt made for me. I liked the humor. The meta comments were great. The art was quite good as well. My one legitimate complaint is that there was no sex had whilst wearing a swimsuit. This seems like a pretty huge miss considering the theme. -- WARNING I am about to go off on a tangent here -- The Iceman scene legit made me sad. Not because it was unfunny, and not because it was gay. It was due to being reminded of Iceman's awful comic book run from last year. I don't mind having m/m content on the books if Tracy wants it in there but it's way too soon to remind me that I have eleven issues of the worst Marvel title in 2017 sitting on my shelf*. I really wish Northstar had been used to pair with Deadpool instead. * Just kidding, the actual worst Marvel title of 2017 was (She) Hulk

My sister passed on her collection to me and it had had those issues along with the one from image with the lingers version lol. Damn Marvel and Image sure became prudish, now all of them are button up like nuns in their actual comics.
