Hey, folks! The next song poll is going up tomorrow, but before it does, I wanted to take a second to express my gratitude for the overwhelming support y'all have shown me in response to the announcement I made at the end of the Free Fallin' video. I was really nervous about it, and I never feel entirely comfortable asking people to pay me for a thing I make for free, but the response over the last week has exceeded even my wildest expectations. Seeing how many of you apparently think this silly little music theory show I make is worthy of your support has been extremely inspiring, and I hope that I'm able to continue making things that deserve it.

As an update on the sponsors thing, this has definitely affirmed for me that I made the right decision, and I'm hoping to stick with it for as long as possible. Even if that doesn't mean forever, it at least means the rest of 2022, and hopefully further. There may be some exceptions, but having the option to just not do them if I don't want to means I'll only wind up doing them if it's something I genuinely want to share. (Like, I've been talking with the folks at Nebula about possibly making a class for them, and if I did that I'd probably do a couple spots about it, which is technically a sponsorship even though it's really just promoting my own work.)
