Ok, well, let's do a poll! Vote for your favorite song/songs from below.

Some logistics stuff: I may change this in the future, but my current plan for these polls is to have four options, analyze the one that gets the most votes (obviously), discard the one that gets the least, and then keep the other two for next month's poll. That way I'm not burning through too many good options too quickly, and if a song happens to wind up in a month with an incredibly popular choice, it can earn a second chance. I figure songs that keep not getting selected will naturally fall off the bottom eventually, but if I see the same things persisting in the middle forever I'll re-evaluate.

Sad to see Back in Black being least voted, there's a lot of subtlety going on there

Your democratic inclinations here should be applauded, for sure, But I for one feel like maybe this is a little too much democracy. I feel like we should trust your judgment in finding songs that have interesting theory underpinnings that us mortals wouldn't see without your help. Hey, there's an example just above this comment! There's something interesting about the music theory in Back in Black? Really? Hmmm . . . now I want to know more . . . .

That's a fair point, but it's worth noting that I'm still curating the songs that go on the poll in the first place. Everything on there is a song I've already confirmed could make a good video, most of what's happening here is just letting people decide which ones get made first.
