How I met your mother continues :) thsi seires really brings tears to my eyes. and to what you were saying, I believe it s more than greed for most of them. people in such times FEAR going against the church. assosiating with anything supernatural is prohibited. with their lives. with lives of their loved ones. Church = fear. both ways. church was created that way because people are afraid of what they cannot control. also, greed. and then church controls people so they are afraid to go against it. ... creating animosity in circles towards anything that is different and outside of the doctrines. ... creating the environment where people automatically attack anything that goes against the church's words. cuz ultimately people "learn" that only with the church they feel safe... that only being with the church gives them profit and protects what they want... so eliminating anything outside of this madness PROTECTS them. that s how they feel. it becomes personal. that s how u create extremist warriors. people who stopped thinking and just act out of basic survival instinct. and church remains safe in the middle. and so the madness begins... churches in history stolen freedom. sigh.
