I think, that we need to remember, that drama is for teens at the first place. And we are, most likely, all adults. From our point of view it's a bit naive, full of flaws simple story. I am not saying that dramas for teens couldn't be flawlеss. But this series is good enough for teens. Because it's about them. Their insecurity in dangerous world, friendship, social equity, come out for LGBT, school bulling. The main message sound a bit cheesy, or unrealistic, or naive, but it's true: young people can make this world better. I know. I am pathetic.

I love your thoughts about it. I'm an old one, I'm difficult to please, I recognize it. But still you're right about the point of view of teens and issues that are adresses.
