Clarification to today’s episode: Itt is affraid of speed after Day’s accident and that is why he stopped Day from driving fast. He had a full blown panic attack in the book if I remember correctly. Itt is really spoiled rotten- by Day! Itt acting like a child when he does not get cake is more a reaction to a broken promise from Day to bring cake. Day’s reason to spoil Itt is to make him used to getting spoiled and wanting to stay and Day likes to spoil. Itt in the book is not totaly as anoyong as in the series 😊 Bit of background to the story (and some spoilers?): Day and Itt had a really chitty start cause Day took out his anger (for a long time) on Itt after Night was violated by Itt’s friend Gear. Gear and Night actually both liked each other but Itt made a bet with Gear to use Night. Long story short, they got together for real after Night had stayed in England for 6 months and got toucher (and Gear really apologised to Night and did whatever Night asked). Day and Itt turned out like a Stockholm syndrome case 2 years ago during Day’s revenge cause Itt started to like Day’s softer sides that he experienced sometimes among all the violense and abuse. Day’s violent and cruel behaviour is from his anger for revenge when his and Night’s parents were killed Manny years ago. That is also when he met Kamoul (the maffia boss) that he worked for for some time before opening his hair salong. Day changed ways because of Itt, when Day realised that he loved for the first time and Itt might dissapear from his life otherwise. Night had a part in making Day and Itt realise their feelings. He also scolded Day big time when he found out how Day treated Itt in the beginning (during the revenge). So there was a lot of crap in the beginning but both Day and Gear adore their boyfriends and Night and Itt were extremely forgiving and able to see the good in them. Toxic beginning but better end.
