As someone who has had trauma upon trauma in my life…it took a very very very long time for me to learn to protect myself or try to. Many people who experience trauma will freeze in situations because we don’t know what to do and it triggers us. King has recognized that something is wrong with Uea. He has probably pieced some of it together based on the way Uea has reacted to certain things…and he just wants to be able to protect him. It’s not about wanting Uea to be someone who can’t protect himself. Because of the trauma Uea has not learned how strong he is yet…but I have a feeling he will learn how strong of a person he is soon. He will recognize he has support and people who care about him and love him and he will learn to no longer take anyone’s shit. ❤️

To my understanding, they hate the new guy because they expected one of them to be promoted but instead the CEO brought his family member to fill an empty position, so no promotion, nepotism, and because Mankol (i think) is also family with the CEO they are frustrated that he has more support and will act in a way that harms their work even more than before. Also I think the new guy will be the new focus and the family trauma will be dealt at the end when (if ever) King and Uea actually date, so that King can truly support him in dealing with it and not be his shield and way of escaping the problems. I also believe Uea developed untrust to anyone at this point, he won't believe in anyone and because King was labeled by him as a player, unless theres a true emotional moment that brings them together Uea has no reason to believe King has changed. Even if he develops feelings for him, they will be locked behind his defensive mechanisms

Hi! So firstly, Jade is Uea's best friend since they were roommate in college while Jade and King are childhood friends (so that why King's mother call Jade when King doesn't answer). About the new boss, (in the book), at first they don't like him because the job should have been Bass's. Let me explain : Bass was temporarily occupying the manager position since the last one quit (something like six months ago) and everyone was waiting for the boss to make it official since Bass does a good job but instead he brought this new guy. The new guy is the boss nephew's like Mankorn (they're cousins if I remember correctly) so he got the job only because he's family. So everyone is mad 'cause they like Bass and Mankorn were already never actually doing is job, always giving it to Jade (who Uea help). Then to make it worst, the new guy end up interested in Uea which bother Uea, King and Jade... I won't say more because I don't want to spoil 🤭😉 They are a few differences between the book and the series so let's see how they will solve it. 🤗. I agree that Jade's fall was hilarious and that the opening scene was beautiful ! Lastly, thank's for your reaction!

More hilarious than the fall, was the fact that King just walked right through Jade like he was an open door. He didn't even look back. lol. I am just loving this new guy because it is Chay from LITA, but it is definitely about to be messy, especially since this episode had so much cute. Love how King did not back down from the boss' niece. Also poor Bas... Ifeel like he is going to end up doing the same job he has been doing all along but without the title.
