I see the preview as Jim being worried about his nephew. Although Thailand is highly successful when it comes to BLs, it's still a very homophobic society. Jim knows and has experienced how people react and treat people who are poor and gay. Plus, even though Jim and his sister talk to each other, we still don't really know her stance on male/male relationships. He could also be worried about Li Ming possibly losing what little relationship he has left with his mother. I know previews are shown to make people talk about the show and tune in to the next episode, so I try not to base conclusions on what is shown.

I feel so sorry for Alan, at this point I'm not sure they'll have a thing with Gaipa, he's too deep in love with Wen to move on and fall in love with another person. But they can be friends at least.

I know Alan is grieving and depressed and people in that state don't make good decisions I understand that really but still what he did was unreasonable. You can't tell me that Alan did not factor in that uncle Jim would not want that help. Anyone in that situation would be uncomfortable to receive that business card.
