Cédric Bardoux

A lot of tropes in one episode but... it's a GL so I take them ! A trauma in the past of Sam made her emotionless, dominant grandmother who still live in his head 200 years ago, Fon brutally facing reality, Kirk probably a good guy but...are we sure ? It seems a good start (I don't like the childhood crush without even a single meeting in between, it's stupid... we are still going to take it). The acting is good and the cinematography is very good, it's clean and the director uses a lot of dutch-angle shots. I hope it will be a signature of the series, I love that when director create a stylisg shot for a series.

I'm watching it only for Heng cause he's my favorite actor from BL's and I already love Kirk, so I will be probably watching it and being mad on how he deserves someone who will love him. Hopefully he will have also his happy end with someone else. He may be a villain, but it wouldn't look good in this series I think, as we already saw him tolerating how Sam treats him with a smile and it was really innocent and trustworthy behavior. The villain will be grandma. I liked Mon character, but she is too naive and lives in her imagination. I feel sorry for her. I hate Sam already, I really don't care of how her grandma treated her and what else happened to her, whatever, she is just mean for everyone around her, for people that are good for her. If she's not happy about engagement, she can end it. She's 29, not 18 to be forced easily to it. She's independent woman! Sam and Kirk are probably in the same situation as Mangkorn and Heng in Big Dragon, but they didn't say no and they are not young students. I hope they both are not really attracted to each other.
