I agree with most everyone here, this is a cute series. I love the voice overs of their thoughts, that adds so much context for me to the plot. The main leads seem to really be loving their rolls in this too.

It’s a bit lost in translation. He told him if they could go out together, which is often said in confessions when you want to date someone. That’s why he misunderstood him and thought he meant “would you date me?”. What I think he meant was could we hang out together. The way he worded it could be easily misinterpreted. He didn’t specifically say let’s be good friends. The wording was rather ambiguous so I can see why the other guy misunderstood him. Which is also why he gave a long pause cause he thought he’s just been confessed to and had to give an appropriate answer.
