This show is 50 eps long, but it definitely requires a rewatch especially with the varying subs. I'm on my 1st rewatch, following your reactions and it's amazing already in the first ep how much MORE I 'get' right away. Excited to keep watching your reactions. :D

I'm so glad you're watching it at last! Such a good drama! Thank you for sharing ☆.☆ ah and just one thing (no spoilers), it's not actually martial arts from what I understand. The Chinese 'fantasy' world is divided in two genres: wuxia and xianxia. Word of Honor is a wuxia drama. This is xianxia. So in wuxia you'll see martial artists and in xianxia mostly cultivators. They can do pretty much the same thing on a certain level but in xianxia there is a notion of immortality and wanting to cultivate (train your body and spirit) to attain it. And what's important is that in a xianxia drama you'll see ghosts fairy god demons and all kind of evil and mythological creatures (which you do not in a wuxia drama). I started Chinese dramas not that long ago so I'm not 100 percent sure of this explanation but that's what I gathered. If someone knows better, feel free to correct me. And don't worry, nobody understand what's happening on the first episodes of The Untamed at the beggining 😂 even the Mo XuanYu thing is complicated to understand (after several rewatch it became clearer for me x) I hope to see another reaction video from you soon!

It was really helpful for me.

Im so happy to finally watch your reaction of this I watched this on Netflix last year. This was my first ever Wuxia show. I love watching you figure it out, you did way better than I did the first time. lol I rewatched the ep so many times like Joanna. I watched Word of Honor right after this and, I liked Word of Honor a bit more, only because there were less characters to understand, l little less killing, and more humor. I just watched the untamed special ed. on Youtube 20 ep version. That helped me understand some more stuff. so now im excited to rewatch the whole series again with Lydia lol. Its also nice to have different subs its funny i've already noticed some different words just in ep 1.
