New Year January Update (Month by Month) (Patreon)

Hello friends, Happy New Year!

This month's update will be a little bit different from normal since it is tradition now for me to reflect on my yearly progress and look at my favourites from month to month.

On reflection of this year's progress compared to last year's I can see a much more consistent approach to stylising drawings, whilst also experimenting with a few more brushes that doesn't compromise the look I have been going for. I would like to continue this trend into the new year on experimenting with brushes, but with a greater focus on trying brushes that are largely different in style than what I do currently. I think this will help me in the long run with understanding what makes a pleasant image, good composition, and how to efficiently put together a drawing.

In addition to my illustrations this year, it is also home to my largely successful Momo animation and the teasing starts of a new animation. I feel though my focus on animation slowed down a lot over the latter half of the year and I would like to rectify that. It's a difficult balancing act between providing enough Patreon content and taking on commissions so I can earn enough to live. Expect to see more regular animated content into the new year.

Lastly, I just wanna say thanks for the support you guys give me here. I never expected any sort of following or monetary foundation when I created this account. It really brings a tear to my eye that this silly, little, Brit can somehow almost make it in this world as an artist. I really can't do it without you guys.
