Shantae's Beach Vacation (Exclusive) (Patreon)

Another video that has been in the works for a while! This was commissioned over a month ago, but we didn't want to rush it; we wanted to make sure to get it "just right". Speaking further to this, as fast as we try to produce our own and collaborated content, I think we're going to focus on longer animations with better overall quality. At the very least, our animations will have less errors/mistakes, as we're going to allot more time to fix said errors/mistakes. I'm not promising perfection, but better quality overall, with more opportunity for longer animations. You can expect to see 2-3 animations a week from now on instead of 3-4. 5 was our goal for the longest time, but Blender takes too long to render.

I don't like setting up outdoors animations. I always feel like the lighting isn't quite right, and typically there's movement of some kind in nature. However, you can't get better at something unless you try, so when this was requested we happily took on the challenge. I worked very hard at the lighting, and even implemented some movement on the trees in the wind to give shadows a bit of movement as light filters through their leaves. I feel the team did an amazing job overall, and I'm very pleased with this release.
