This scene was great for practicing scene building, reallocation of models, as well as testing some lighting changes. Firebrand already had a pretty solid setup. I just had to work it a little for VR, then again for the final non-VR shot. 

The camera work I did for the non-VR version is very simple, but was good practice for my first time doing camera work in Blender. Baby steps. Lots of baby steps. I think it's too fast movement wise, and Firebrand agrees. But live and learn, try new things and adapt. Enjoy!

Kind of sad that 2 out of the first 5 blender animations have those absurd body proportions but oh well. Also just letting you know that the 6k version of this works just fine since I reported some issues with the last 6k video.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm glad to hear this one is working "just fine" for you. I'm not sure why you had issues with the last 6K video, as nothing has changed in our process between those two videos and the 6K version of this was completed before you reported anything. It's boggled my mind what could be different in the pipeline from start to finish. I'm not sure what to say about the proportions. Different artist have different tastes, just like everyone else has different tastes and opinions. I'm sorry it's not quite to your liking. I don't expect everyone to like every video we release, as that is an unrealistic expectation.

I decided to look at this video's 6K as well as the Tifa video's 6K and compare them in hopes of clearing this up further, but now I am even more confused. The Tifa video is actually even lower in bitrate, which should make it play even more smoothly. I'm at a loss for words on this one.

It might be just my phone, but the last few 4k videos have had bad audio. Almost like all sounds are static, like TV static.

Is it me but...6k is like 4k , i mean i compared th etwo and there is 0 diffrence, i say this because the last ones were diffrent as in the 4k was lower than 6k .

Unfortunately, no. I've refrained from doing multiple skin color versions because of the time and work it takes to produce just one video, let alone two. Whatever the original artist had in mind, or what a commissioner requests, is what I go with on matters of personal taste. In this situation, the commissioner requested blonder hair for Akali and dark skin for the male. If this is commissioned down the road in a remaster, then I'd be willing to do it then if that was specifically requested.

I completely understand. Personally, I prefer the traditional version of a character almost every time, but I believe in supporting the original artist's idea every time. And I'm glad for you pointing it out. I just hate not having an answer for you! If you're experiencing an issue then we want to know.

The resolutions are definitely different with one being 6144x3072, and the other being 4096x2048, and the 6k being almost 100Mb bigger than in file size. If you can't tell the different between the two, that just means we are doing a good (and better) job with our compression during encoding and post work. Of course, different shots and videos will have different outcomes!

No wait maybe i said it in a dumb way, when i watch the video in VR with oculus the videos are identically in quality 6k is like 4k . Maybe i said it more logical now.

Depending on your device the difference may be minimal as the standard Occulus Rift can't really show 6k properly due to mechanical limitations.
