There's a lot going on with this one, to be sure. Given my brains propensity to do what it wants to and not what I want it to, I can't remember exactly what I tried that was new besides the volumetric lighting and rim lights. I do like how it turned out, even though it's not my typical genre of model.

Watching the non-vr now, I remember that I had to make 6 different lights in total for the eyes to really nail the proper look and feel. Volumetric for each, illuminating color for each, and then the ones lighting up the character for each. Beyond that I THINK it was just practicing basic variation and and playing with speed and timing. Enjoy!
