I told Karissa I wanted to create more videos with a female POV, and that turned into moving forward with her character in videos, which turned into a D&D theme, which meant there needed to be more than one person involved... and it kinda snowballed further and further until we arrived at this. With that said, I'll be working on getting a character model up and running to represent Karissa in VR videos. This should allow for some... interesting situations.

I need to thank a couple people for their work, as well as their honest opinions. Thank you to Luriam and Karissa for brainstorming with me, as well as telling me what they liked and didn't like, and what I should change or add. Thank you to Blueberg for sending me a better Illithid rig than I tried to put together, as well as animating the background action. Thank you to Secazz for giving me advice on the lighting and animation, as well. You're all a big part of how this turned out. I love it, personally.

For those of you who support us for our non-VR versions, I've been putting time into learning camera work, as well as adding and moving cameras in post along with timing in general. I don't like how quickly the side cameras appeared and disappeared (I think they should have remained a tad longer), but otherwise I was pretty happy with the inclusion of the side cameras to show you what's happening "out of view". I'll be actively working to make my transitions and extra angles a little more sleek looking.

The scene itself was a lot of fun to put together. Between the water level slightly rising and falling with floating and submerged objects, to hiding weapons in the alcoves of the wall, to animating Karissa's "predicament", it was a blast. Being a huge D&D nerd (big surprise, right?) this was a lot of fun in so many ways. I think the lighting was my favorite part, as usual. I didn't quite nail the water effect I wanted, but it still looks great.
