It was conclusive from the last poll that enough of you enjoy our non-VR videos in 4k, and we WILL continue producing them in 4k as well as 1080p. So consider 4k, non-watermarked 3d videos a bonus for supporting us.

With that out of the way, I have a question for all of you who enjoy our non-VR videos regardless of resolution. Should said videos be turned sideways? To me it is common sense that a camera should capture as much of the hot action as possible and leave everything else out that isn't pertinent. BUT I am trying to think outside of the box, and non-VR videos are fairly new territory for me.

Here are a couple examples of what I mean from when I worked with the extremely talented ProcrastinatingLazily:

Camera Rotation Normal

Camera Turned Sideways

Personally, my phone rotates a video to use up the entire screen regardless, and it's easy enough to disable auto-rotation on vidoes where it doesn't. I only see this as an issue when sharing previews or viewing on a monitor, but figured I would ask for input. Place your votes and comment away.
