The day is finally here! The newest studio exclusive is here and ready for viewing. To go into detail, I consider this the first true SFMVRSTITCH-Demo 2.9 release. There are a couple other animations on the way that utilized the tool (and of course all beyond from here on out), but I spent the most time on this one. With the new demo, scaling is much more important. It's a more realistic point of view with better distortion, so any scaling differences are quite apparent. This is true in this animation in particular, as the model we used for Elizabeth, while sexy, is not exactly what you would call realistic. Bear that in mind when viewing, but feel free to leave any criticisms in the comments below. Dark Dreams is a constant WIP that will never settle for sub-par standards, and criticism helps us do just that.

On top of scaling being more important, there are other changes that are quite noticeable. AO (ambient occlusion) will no longer be an issue in terms of stitching, so I should now be able to use it in ALL animations instead of just select ones that I deem perfect or at best usable. This is a major improvement and time saver, as I no longer need to do test renders to make sure it's "okay to use" AO. This means more consistent lighting across the board.

The new STITCH also has a better anti-aliasing, as well as better smoothing, so less jaggies and less noise all around.

This scene build took a crazy amount of time. I spent days getting it to look just like the actual game version. Due to the limitations of SFM, there was only so much I can do, but the actual scene is pretty damn close. The animation has a couple mistakes that I learned of after it was already rendered, so I apologize for that. Thanks to Kaeg for pointing these out to me, as well as doing the animation. This is the last studio release I will be animating with him on, as I want these to come out much quicker and I am the current bottleneck. Thanks to Karissa for the voice work, Luriam for the sound, and Spiral for the music. Enough about the updates, credits, and mistakes, and on to the animation. As a reminder, from now on animations will all be barrel distortion, 180 degree. Enjoy!

While I have your attention, some WIP's I have been wanting to post but haven't had time to outside of Discord.

Some of these you may have seen before on here or on Discord.

That's pretty much it for now! Enjoy the video! We'll have new polls, new videos, and of course Discord and a MEGA link this week.
