Doki Doki Literature club character reel! minus Yuri... (Patreon)

Some of you might have seen my latest streams where I did a playthrough of Doki Doki Literature club and read all of it in different character voices and it was such a blast for me. I was like AHHHH I wanna do more, so I auditioned for TWO different DDLC fandubs today and I put together a little reel of all the voices I did for Sayori, Natsuki, and Monika! I didn't get around to auditioning for Yuri cause I kinda ran out of time and energy, but maybe I'll do that later.
(for one of the people I auditioned for they had the MC's name as "Hansuke" so that's why that name is used sometimes haha)
As much as I love voicing high-pitched cutesy characters, I kinda have a soft spot for voicing Monika. She's so enigmatic and kind of like anime girl Glados in a way, and more subtle about her weirdness than Yuri is. Yuri's voice is sooo hard to do sometimes and I run out of breath when I try to read her stuff a lot. But Monika's is in that sweet spot where it's just sorta deep and sing-songy in a slightly unsettling way. I like to read her lines kind of like how talking barbie dolls say things if you remember those, that like, artificial, forced-happy tone. It's so much fun...I do also enjoy voicing Sayori cause of those moments where she sounds much more somber and her cheery facade drops a little. I like subtly adding some vulnerability in her voice to show what's beneath her seemingly happy persona..Although I couldn't really get that far with the auditions I did for her since the project owners mostly put lines from the very beginning of the game where she's super upbeat-sounding. So yeah anyway...I hope you enjoy!! Sorry about no Yuri I'll try to get to that when I can..
