Installation of Full Game

  • Download the Full Game zip file above
  • Open and extract the .zip file. I recommended the software WinRAR  if you do not already have a Zip software.
  • Launch game in the extracted directory.  

Installation of Update Files Only

  • Download the Update Files Only zip file above
  • Open and extract the .zip file to the exact same location that you previously extracted Lust Epidemic. I recommended the software WinRAR  if you do not already have a Zip software.
  • Overwrite all the files it asks you to overwrite.
  • Launch game in the extracted directory. 

Keeping your old save files. (PC & Linux)

When you extract, either extract it to, or copy it to your previous installation directory. It should ask you to overwrite the files. This will update your old game and keep your old save files.Alternatively, you can extract the full game to a new directory and copy your save files to the new game. Your old save files will be in the 'www' directory. Copy the 'save' folder to the 'www' directory of the new installation.If you are on a Mac, your save files will remain no matter where you extract the files.

What does the % complete mean?  

Although I am writing the details of the story as I go, the overall structure of the story is fully planned, therefore the % you see in the game is an estimate based on this fully planned structure, not the current release. At the end of this release you can be at up to 77% completion. A dialog box will appear during menu access once you’ve reached the end of the update. 

Want to know what the version number means?

The first two digits represent the maximum completion % possible for that release. The next two are the month that the update was released in (09 = September, 10 = October, etc.). And the last digit is the number of the release for that month (1st release, 2nd release, etc.)

HI, great game btw.... so i have been trying to open the elevator i have 3 out 4 things complete i just need to repair the wires at the light post but im missing something to repair it. is there something yet that i missed (and where is it)or is it a work in progress?

Found a bug, after buddie breaks the radio and youre free to walk around the security room area, mendel stays there and i went for the shiny object near the plant and mendel walked that direction and blocked me in for a solid 3 minutes. I know its not a huge bug but it was a minor inconvenience at least with his pathing. Also after using the grappling hook on the first wall after you climb the rope and use a machete on the bush where the birds fly out it crashed my game

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes the characters random movements get hung up for a bit longer than I'd like. I'll see if I can find a fix. With the crashes, this is a video memory problem. If you play for a really long time and play very quickly, or watch a tons of scenes from the scene player all at once the game may not be able to purge the memory fast enough. This is a fundamental problem with LE and will be fixed in the next game with an entirely different scene system.

Hey having some troubles. just downloaded the update. played till i put in Jed's code in the machine. got a reminder to save. Tried and cant save on any slot. all i get is a buzzing sound.

It's likely a permissions thing. Is there something on your computer that could be preventing the game from writing data to your hard drive? Like a firewall software?

So my inventory shows 1 wheel but I can't remember where I found it. since I was away from the game for awhile. Now I have no idea where the other one is. I feel like I have looked everywhere. I think the one I found was the one that was made available after putting the code in and removing the red laser. Help!!

Hi think i found something not sure its a bug or a hidden room? At the note where you get a clue of the angel wing if you go left you can just walk through the wall and basically walk all over the black area of the map. Btw i cant get the last coin. have all except one. Pretty sure i accidently threw it and its gone now.

On PC your save files are in the www/save folder of your previous install. You have to move the folder to your new install.

so i just D/L this update, and ive found a bug. when i go to give Andy and SImon the pickax and shovel, i get a "failed to load Audio/se/Pickaxe.ogg retry . After i click retry Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function.

I've tried downloading the whole game again, I've tried to add the patch with 7,zip, winzip and winrar without success. I have an older computer (10 years on windows 7) and have never been successful adding a patch. I looked on google search for how to do it. their helpful advice, just click on the patch and follow the directions

i downloaded ver.77 its fine but i only get to 75% completion it says you have reached the end of this ver. also i found the two angel wings but i dont know what i am suposed to do with them?

77% includes all collectibles, so you are missing a few of those. The crystal ball will tell you what you're missing. The angle wings go on the angel on the 3rd floor.

after placing the wings on the angel i am at 76% i have all the scenes all the hearts eccept all but one to go for Val, so 5/6,i have all picture all outfits,and the crystal ball says i have reach the end of this version,its not a big deal but what am i missing?and all the characters in the game say i have to wait for the next update or have nothing new to say.
