That was really interesting. I've invested quite a bit in newish hardware (like the SYSTEM-8) but I do wonder what I'll do when they eventually fail? I think I'd always want a smaller number of top quality synths but I could see myself using more soft synths as computer power keeps increasing

..but bottom line there's not a chance that I'd drop 10k+ on a vintage synth and go near it with a soldering iron 😄
