Here's my take on the Korg Polysix.  I was considering replacing the 106 with something else so thought I'd give this a try.   The Softube Model 84 is so good its made the 106 redundant ... really!

This is good, and can sound beautiful...BUT... no MIDI or CV inputs so its difficult to incorporate into a mix unless you play live (which I've been doing more and more lately, but its would be nice to have).

a MIDI conversion can cost as little as £93 if I'm brave enough!!... or sell it and ge another with MIDI...

... or hang on for the Behringer Polyeight they teased a few months back and compare the 2 before selling it ;)

Great intro! Waiting on the day you turn up with a moog one, and compare it with more obtainable synths us mere mortals can afford!

unfortunately I’m a mere mortal too! The Moog one has never really appealed tbh. I can’t see why it’s so expensive. Add to that lots of bugs and complaints I’ll keep clear until I can get one on load from someone :)

i would not give up Juno for this, but that's just me. There are few instruments that have a character that I would never part with - these do not have to be expensive synths, but for me its Jupiter 6, Juno 106 and Prophet 10 as three poly synths I will never get out of my stands. On to of that, JV1080 and Juno 2 (thanks for patches for few months ago) too. In the last few years though, REV2 also got it's place in my favourite poly arsenal, there is Peak there to, but I see you are looking to swap a relatively simple classic like Juno 106 - how does UDO 6 compare to it, in your opinion? We already spoke about how it does not relate to Jupiter 6, but do you feel sonically it could swap Juno?
