After originally deciding I didn't want to add any drums to my eurorack rig I eventually came to the conclusion that it would be useful to have something to create a beat within the system so it is self contained and I don't have to bring in other kit like the Tempest or Rytm to get a groove going.... I can always make the beat more complex using them later

This seems like a good balance between cost, size and flexibility.  I can get decent sounds from it allowing me to use it while generating more complex tones from the VCOs etc...

.. and for that it's great.
