I've been really impressed by this.  It's got 4 tracks, and loads of options - repeating steps, ratchets and arpeggio per step.  It also has a modulation output per channel which can send out individual envelopes per step, LFOs, triggers, CV and note info... so well more than just a 4 track sequencer once you start digging in.

Most impressive of all is the user interface.  Much of the eurorack stuff I encounter can be a bit inpenetrable (maybe that's deliberate .. haha).. but once you know how this works - which takes all of 10 seconds, you can find your way to everything really easily.

Looks great. Would you say this is more practical for producing coherent tracks as opposed to the likes of Rene which seems great for noodling and happy accidents but not sure how great it is if you want to create an actual "song"? I love the fact this has four channels. Not sure if you've explored the Eloquencer yet, which has eight channels! All of these sequencers seem to start at £500 and upwards, thankfully (for the bank account) I would need to buy a second case to get one of them.

I'm still trying to find my way round Rene - trying to see how I can use it usefully, rather than constant experimentation. The happy accidents are part of the overall 'hope' for anything like this - just to give something that you wouldn't naturally be drawn to. The MAGIC function on this is great though. You can randomise any thing, but also control it within limits. It's great for that. Playing a couple of channels and messing around with bar lengths etc can also generate unexpected results... but ones you can save|! Not tried Eloquencer... it's never going to stop :)
