It is not surprising. in the past they always gave priority to pokemon childs. In general, the waifu of the moment or a generic and inflated character always wins. at least before there were special surveys for each anime, but now not even that. We seldom have worthwhile cards as they always include characters like rebecca in polls

Loving all the people in the replies who haven't watched Edgerunners and don't know anything about Rebecca or lolis in general. If her winning bothers you so much then leave, nobody is forcing you to give Evaan your money, those who don't give a shit about the rights of fictional characters will stay. Evaan, if you're reading this, don't listen to those idiots. I believe that the folks who still love and appreciate the work that you do will stay, since at the end of the day, those people have no control over what you decide to make. If you're gonna make her, then your real fans will be happy, but even if you don't, I'm sure that we'll still be her and enjoy whatever character to decide on.

Exactly, I recently paid for the membership again with the hope that the content will improve. but still stuck at the same thing. The only change that I applaud is that the current quality of the characters is brutal. Even though you don't have to be so hard with the boy.

If you want an exact product you can simply commission someone from the Koikatsu Discord. The "product" you are paying for is the right to vote. You will not get what you want every time sadly. At this point you are paying for a lottery not an actual product. I myself would rather see any character win. I'm here because I support Evanns content and want him to continue to make quality cards for the community.

Not everyone checks Patreon daily. Also going a bit into the weekend gives people who work Monday through Friday some time to vote if they aren't on throughout the week.

These final polls are only for a handful of anime and game cards for another vote that already passed though. Anyone who couldn't vote over the workweek wouldn't have had a say in the western or pokemon card and the majority of anime and game characters

As Rushasu say's, not everyone can check patreon daily and it can change, Aqua wasnt near the top yesterday. Its true that it tales more than other patreons, but i think is jus Evaan being nice.

Where's this favoritism? What do you want to be improved? I'm curious. I would like to see some examples. From what I see, people are getting what they paid for based on their subscribed tier. Everyone is entitled to the right to vote based on their said tier. Since you have to pay to vote, it leaves very little room to manipulate the polls. People are legit voting for what they want to see. If their character doesn't make it to the final round of voting, then they choose something else they like from the pool of characters that did. It's like holding an election or voting for a class president. Not everyone will agree, but the majority will always win, and you must deal with it. There are plenty of good Koikatsu content creators out there who do direct commissions. Yeah, it might be more expensive than paying 1-30$ for a chance to get what you want, but at least you get what you are paying for. That's what I usually do, at least. I've had some quality cards made for myself doing this since most of the characters I want never tend to make it through the polls here outside of Bleach and Persona characters. Waifu Wars always seem like a bait poll. Way too many selections, and your odds of having your favorite character making it, though, are next to none, especially if a character from a new anime that's a big hit ends up in the polls. Honestly, if you aren't here for Pokemon, Persona, or MHA, your chances of getting what you want are low since they have their polls typically, and it's just them. That's my opinion from what I've noticed, though. The only tier with an advantage is the 30$ tier, which, iirc only a few have access to it, but that tier mainly impacts Wild Cards and not the actual voting itself. One thing I have noticed is that the community here is toxic as hell but that's the internet these days lol. Everyone runs around like they are self entitled to something.
