Meh, I can't get into the body types he makes. Next21 makes good cards for studio screenshots, not so much for school or Free-H. Which is where I spend the entirety of my time.

the problem with Sugu is that he paywalls everything. and his quality is not really on the level of others like, say, Evaan or NEXT21.

i can second that. his hair mods do not have physics for example or clothes no semi states (only on or off). this might not even be that annoying with short haired cards (it still is alot actually) but shipudden hinatas hair for a long haired example is basically allways clipping trough everything. they may look nice in the screenshots but they are basically all useless the moment you decice to move the head a little bit and the clipping starts everywhere.

I am not sure what you mean when you say that the body types do not fit your liking. i mean the main challenge behind every character ist to get the face, hair and clothings right i believe. editing the body is something pretty much everyone can do. so if you you disklike the body could you not just change it? and if you do not think you can then just copy the face/hair/clothings on a existing body type you like. i never thought "wow what an amazing card, but the boobs have a weird shape, too bad i can not use it" or something like that but maybe i am missing your point.

It's a matter of preference, I don't like his style because it doesn't mix well with my other cards. I can't explain it any more than that, also what's with that strawman? Body Type means head to toe. That includes face head size height etc.

it was not my intention to use a strawman nor to sound agressive or something like that (it looks to me like you feel offended, i am really sorry for that). it was supposed to be an example. i simply did not understand what you meant. now i do. for me body type means... body type aka the body (at least in my culture it is meant that way) and not the head. you could argue that the head is part of the body and from an anatomically standpoint you are right but we are talking about koikatsu and the material editor for example definitely differentiates between body and head. and the body itself is extremely easy to exchange that is why i gave one single example (boobs) of the thousand body type related things you can easily change. let us just agree to disagree.

That actually makes his cards so interesting i believe. you can edit them a lot more than modded cards. and in the case of sugu: his hairs mods do not have any physics i cannot stress enough how bad this can be in nearly every pose. when someone recreates a hairstyle with hairpieces all of this pieces have physics that alone makes it better in my opinion.
