Most of the set is done now, with only a few additional lighting props, set pieces, and tweaks to avoid tangents. Hopefully it's clear that a door on the left is opened, letting in a cold, winter chill, a silhouette in the doorway cast on the floor, and the warmth of a fire burning off to the right. The final painting will utilize a bit more atmospheric depth painted in as well, and even some snow particles to convey the incoming gust.

Today I'll be working in the characters and tightening up a few more elements before final render and paintover. I project there should be a stream monday or tuesday to work on this picture live, so stay tuned!

Rendering can be a bitch. I’m currently rendering a video in maya. Taking forever. So I can imagine how long these renders take

Do you have fixed chars for this one, or are you planing on selling/raffling some spots?
