Hi all!
Here's a quick piece of my mind regarding my plans for which of my myriad ideas to tackle next. (If you're in the Discord server, you'll know most of this already; if you're not, get in there so you can see the WIPs and bounce ideas!)
Queen of Cock is done, after more than a year of a small novel's worth of smutty size writing. Two things remain to be done: commission a capstone image for the end (featuring Renamon and Toriel), and to compile it all into one kink-indexed pdf/ebook. The former is hopefully getting secured this weekend, while the the latter is on the chopping block, whenever I have a chance to sit down with Scrivener and figure out how to do it properly.
I have a number of WIP projects from the last year and a half that I'd like to continue and finish up. Unfinished projects help no-one, but it's not trivial to get back into the mindset for it. In the last two weeks I've been writing the followup for my breast expansion-centric reality revision story, which I've posted bits of and will be making into an ebook shortly. Aside from that, I have the Argonian Macro Growth story, a Futa Flu vignette, and a sizable story of Penny's Futa adventures that has a complete part 1, with planned parts 2 and 3. My muse is ever fickle, but I'm hoping that I'll get back to these between other projects.
Looking ahead, I'll be back to letting my random flashes of inspiration guide me, but I have three things in particular that I want to work towards:
Interactive Stories. In particular, I've had ideas of taking something, like, Penny exploring a dungeon, and getting your suggestions to see what happens and what kind of kinky expansion is involved. I'd try to keep it real simple; my brain immediately jumps to wanting to fill out every branch, etc., but I'd have to reign it in.
Games. Following from the above, you'll have noticed I get these obsessive moods of wanting to make one. Currently, I've decided to focus on a branching adventure, again, in lieu of trying to build dungeon crawler mechanics (even though I still think a transformation dungeon crawler has huge potential). But writing is more so my forte, so I should use that. Have to decide on the kinks and scenario, but now that QoC is done I have more time to spend on it.
Commissions. I've had several requests, but didn't want to start anything with QoC still incomplete. Now I'm free from that obligation, however, and can consider this more in detail. My thought is that I'll aim for stories of a few thousand words and make an open call, taking the one that appeals the most to me (since my motivation to write is strongly tied to my current moods, I'll want to pick the one most suitable to inspire me). I still haven't nailed down the details and pricing that feels appropriate, though, but I will do it one of these days.
This isn't even touching on my attempts at using Blender, but that's more of a side thing. I have ideas, but it takes so long for me to implement them that I feel like my energy would be better spent doing more writing.
So there we are! QoC was a far bigger project that I had thought, but we got through it. A big thanks to everyone who participated! Now to see where we end up next. As always, happy to hear your suggestions for what to work on and how to improve.
