I've been taking a Zoom course with playwright Gemma Irish on writing uncommon narratives through Strike Theater*. It's been a pretty casual course, with a small number of students (just four of us)- it maybe doesn't push me as hard as I like, but it's been really good to have time that I must set aside for writing, because otherwise, I oftentimes don't.

I took advantage of the class to revisit my play, Gravitational Collapse, and think about the narrative structures I had already planned for it, and write more on it.

I'm going to attach the unedited draft of a new scene that I wrote for GC here. The play being kind of out there to begin with, I'm going to let it sit here out of context.

*I'm Strike's "Scheduling Goddess", meaning I'm minorly on the payroll- the work I do is shake down producers for information about their shows so that I can create Eventbrite tickets, facebook events, and get the whole kit and kaboodle on the Strike Website.
