If you know me, you know I love biking. Long bike rides by myself are meditative- I'll start off frustrated with something, upset about something, just generally out of sorts, and half an hour of biking later I'll feel better. An hour later, I'll maybe even have a plan of attack from whatever's bothering me. More than that? The ride becomes indulgent- I am in my zone. I am doing something for myself. I am just looking at things and trying to remember them, to tell you about later. I generally do not remember, and even more rarely take the time to tell you.

Last summer, I decided I was going to bike to Afton State Park and back, and I did. It was a 73 mile ride in total, and was hard as hell, but easier than I imagined it would be. So this summer, I will do a 100 mile ride. I've been researching where I could go, what would I like to see. And I want to be able to share some of that with you.

So I bought myself a GoPro. I've been playing with placement, where is it going to get the best view, is it too heavy on my helmet, what settings do I need to have it on, etc. But soon I'll share some clips with you, maybe, and later this summer, you can do a meditation with me.

PS. Patrons, I've updated the recipes on my google doc, most of them are complete now, and I'll keep rocking on that.
