Yes, I *am* really enjoying your journey into Classic Who. And now, on to the rest of the video. EDIT after watching the rest: I love the moment when the Doctor comes to understand that the Daleks see killing the Thals as a side benefit of their plan, rather than a cost. He gets this furious glare in his eyes and growls, "This senseless, evil killing..." To me that is the moment the Doctor we know is born, not just that he'll fight against the evils of the universe but that he will do so ruthlessly, because he is just so angry at them. He's got a lot of character development still to come, but this is where it starts.

The next time you find yourself rewatching the 2-part Series 9 opener with Davros and the Daleks, take notice of how heavily they homage these designs for the Dalek city. Really great stuff.

In one of the lost classic episodes 1966 Power of the Daleks there was a Dalek factory and you saw an oval shaped, pulsating lump with a half dozen stubby tentacle like legs being put into the casing.
