I don't know why, but I've never liked the Daleks. I've never found them scary. I prefer the Cybermen instead. The idea being turned into a Cyberman terrifies me more than being confronted by a Dalek.

The Sonic Screwdriver can get through any door in the universe..... unless the script says it can't.

Back in the days, the sonic could only do, what the Doctor programmed it to do. When we first saw the screwdriver, it could unscrew ...well screws ....and thats it. When it became to "powerfull"of a plot tool, in 1981, it was destroyed. Until the 7th Doctor got it back and through McGanns audios it has become the overpowered .... we know today ;)

It made me very happy when I discovered that the 3rd Doctor version of the Sonic Screwdriver (as seen in "Carnival of Monsters") was a prop the BBC acquired from the makers of my other favorite 1960s show "Thunderbirds".
