It's been a while I was going for a QUICK study, like warm up thing and I ended with a full illustration with lots of experimenting! HA!

Back to some pure inking here, my fav actually, I applied the recent testing on black solids: I added some as hard shadows. Then I BLENDED them, the soft grey from you see right before the colors. 

Here I put simple colors, changed the fusion of my shadows layer, added lights & balloons for the story & voilà !

I'm also testing the white balloons without contouring, well it's cool too.
